Located just a short walk from the longest stretch of beach on the
Monterey Peninsula you will delight in the solitude of an
uncrowded beach filled with the sights and sounds of all it should be.
Pelicans soaring just above the waves, sandpipers at your feet, shells
abound. Otters just within the breaking waves, and in season, the
whales making their trek to and from Mexico. Marina State Beach is still
a well kept secret
A mecca for hang gliders soaring with the gulls and para-gliders
floating overhead, there are only a handful of people strolling
the beach at any given time. An occasional shore fisherman will be
sighted.
